Hello,
Does any one document Suboxone treatment notes? If so, do you use a confidential document type? We have practices that do not generally use confidential type documents, but are now beginning to treat patients with Suboxone.
What we are trying to determine is if multiple practices treat Suboxone patients, and all have access to the Suboxone document type, is it OK that they see each other's treatment notes.
Thanks!
Nancy
Hi, we are a multi-specialty group and have a provider in our Psychiatry department who has Suboxone patients, and we have the notes marked confidential. It was provider request that all Psychiatry notes are locked. However the Suboxone itself still shows on the medication list with the ordering physician.

Thank-you!
Do you use a custom form for your Suboxone assessments and notes? And if so, could you share the source file? Our practice is looking at the tools available for these types of visits, for both the medical note for the prescriber and for the mental health notes for the counseling. Thank you.
