New to VFE and GE. Implementation 8 weeks ago. Completed beginner VFE course. Trying to edit and make forms. Eager to learn. Looking for advice on how best to proceed.
I learned a lot in the intermediate too, much more that I could apply to creating custom forms. What type of practice are you? Some specialties have user groups per specialty. i.e. we are orthopedics therefore we have an ortho chug group and often share forms and workflows. If you happen to be ortho, I would be happy to discuss more 🙂

We are a multi-speciality group of 40+ providers including Podiatry. CHUG is a great place for learning and sharing forms. Please let us know what you need and if there are forms already built most are willing to share.

But, if you've ever had a C programming or even object-oriented programming course, you can probably get all you need from the Centricity Help topics.
All of the 'library functions' are defined under 'Symbols listed alphabetically.'
Without learning how to write MEL functions and watcher expressions, you'd be seriously limiting the potential of your forms.
So is what you are saying is that there is a separate Ortho CHUG site? I recently finished the beginner's class for VFE and am beginning to sink my teeth in. I just joined our group about 4months ago and hadn't taken a programming class since the early 00's. This doesn't exactly seem tough however the basics class is just that...
