calculations with multiple decimal points

I am wondering if there is a good way to format numbers resulting from calculations done in a form. I figure something like 00.00 is adequate for my needs at this moment. My calculations are currently resulting in something like ex 1.234000000

Any, thoughts or solutions are very much appreciated.
