Hello
We are using CCC forms where we don't have access to source code, and we are wondering if there is a way to see what document variable is associated with each field associated to a document variable. For instance, if a check box is associated to an obs term, we can "show clinical list changes" to see what obs term it is. If the check box is associated to a document variable, is there an equivalent task to see what the variable name is, or maybe a function that can be accessed programmatically?
Thanks
In administrartion -> System -> Auditing(Clinical) there is on option for "Do not log Encounter Form changes that modify Document Temp Symbols" If you uncheck that then it will start to save these changes. Now you can see Document variables in the in the contributors list, just right click on a document (started after you made the change in administartion) select the View Contributors list option and uncheck the "Dont show changes to document temporary changes".
So right now we have unchecked "log clinical data contributions to documents" and therefore "Do not log encounter form changes" is also unchecked. So it sounds like what you are saying is that we need to check "log clinical data contributions to documents" and then leave the "do not log encounter forms changes..." unchecked. Am I understanding this correctly?
Thanks!
Ken
Yes that sounds right, this adds a lot of rows to the audit table by the way, if you have a large group you might not want to leave this checked for a long time, but you need to do this step in order to figure out these variable names with this method
